"Everybody's doing it, so why can't we?" The Griggs officially have a laptop and wireless internet now, so expect great things! Jon and I, well I, wanted a blog so everyone can watch as I try to become computer literate. Some of our family is in Texas, some in Florida (for now, tee hee), some in California (miss you Jen), and elsewhere, not to mention friends all across the US, so we have decided this is the best way to keep up, and here goes. Jon is the head of our nuthouse. He is the almost perfect husband, doting Daddy, and the only male (we must keep things balanced mustn't we?). Jon is currently juggling nursing school, some construction work, and leading worship at our chuch half the time as well as leading a young adult homegroup. He loves the outdoors and anything that humans should probably never try. I, Noelle, am the quiet, demure, passive, balanced and calm one of the family, making sure that our small boat sails through the trials of life with nary a scratch...(yeah, Captain Ahab!) Thank you, Jon. I will now take the computer back and continue on. Actually, I have been known to be slightly abnormal and zany, but only when severely provoked. Occasionally I laugh hysterically, but I consider that a form of communication. Some people speak the language, some don't, and I will often converse all by myself. Ahh, next we have the children. The oldest is Brennah Ashby Griggs, my little love. She is verrry intelligent, stunningly beautiful, almost dainty, and yet loves bugs, mud and everything dirty. It will be a fun challenge to satisfy her voracious appetite for knowledge as we homeschool. Margaret Isabelle Griggs. Her name is a sentence all its own. Maggie is 19 months, started crawling at four months, walking at 9, and now speaks sentences. Maggie Bell, as her Pop calls her, is usually the first to awaken in the morning and usually hits the floor at a dead run. This continues all day. It is fascinating how children can be so different. Brennah eats perhaps one muffin, where Maggie will have three. Tonight at dinner Maggie put away 1 piece of turkey bacon, one and a half pieces of french toast, 2 servings of peas, 1 serving of oven fries and half a container of cherry vanilla yogurt. Both of the girls are very loving and cuddly, and they convince me every day that the Lord gives good gifts. Charlie is our dog, and she is more human than most humans. She also obeys better than the children. Last but not least is Borimir, our Betta. As he still has not consumed any food since we brought him home, his fate remains to be seen. We very well could soon be making an emergency trip to Wal-Mart, risking the Wal-Martians, and the Wal-Mart security guy (of whom I have written an ode) to buy a Borimir II. We will keep you updated on this breaking story. I am very excited about this blog and will try to be faithful in updating. Please Post! There is just no way I can call everyone that I want to everyday, so I am hoping that this will keep everbody closer than we have been! I love you all!
