For squirrels in Texas the fear doesn't lie in getting hit by a car...the horror for them is coming to rest on the hot pavement.

When the aforementioned can't be avoided,
they do the best that they can...







I have never seen roadkill like this before. It definitely begged for a double take. The scary thing is, that some of you will not be surprised that I went back, stopped in the middle turn lane and leaned out for this photo op. I ask again, am I the only one? Or are there others out there who are just quieter about certain odd tendencies?

    I am not beleiving you did that, you backed up and took this picture of a poor dead squirrel. That is pretty funny.
