Ahhh old friends

Second generation friends(Elijah's Atlanta zoo party)

Kent is the tallest at the zoo, therefore Maggie promptly walks up and asks to be held

AHHHHH! I am officially cut out of cyberspace and cell phone waves. We are completely moved out of the "Hill" house and are living with the Big Griggs, and subsequently we are CUT OFF from the outside world-which actually in most ways has been a huge blessing, I love being out in the country! But I am sooo far behind in posting that I do not believe I can ever catch up, but I will try to back post. Jon and I went running on a dirt road after dark the other night. We started out with two head lamps, but when we arrived at the starting point, mine didn't work OF COURSE. We decided to run by the light of Jon's green head lamp light (which he assured me that it wouldn't disturb the wildlife...comforting) and the eery blood red moon and sky. I commented on how disturbing it was to be in the middle of the woods on a dirt road lit by a blood red moon, but pysched myself up for the remainder of the run, and I was truly fine...until the howling started around us. Yes, the entire Washington population of coyotes decided they would like to run by the light of the blood red moon as well. In fact it so excited them that they couldn't keep the joy inside. I hate the sound of coyotes. I hate it more when I am over a mile from the relative safety of the vehicle. I made great time back, probably the best in years.

  2. About time young lady. That is a great picture of the kids. Can hardly believe that the three of you ran around together so many moons ago, and it reminds me of how old I am. Thanks for stirring memories.
