A five minute post
I am at Jen's house painting the girls room, so I get to post! These last few weeks have been crazy! God is doing some awesome and surprising things in our lives right now. I leave with the girls next Monday for Texas. I am going to a Midwifery conference in San Antonio with Tiff (who is driving in from Colorado with her Mom-her grandparent live in Ft.Worth, how weird is that?) and we will go together. My house is almost framed! SOME people were supposed to take pictures so that I could put them on the blog, but SOME people did not check the batteries on their digital camera yesterday. I know most of you will be amused to learn that I have already picked out most of my paint colors. Okay on to the children stories. Maggie told her Uncle Jay at breakfast that lizards do not have bottoms. The other night she wouldn't eat her veggies and Jay told her to tell her Daddy "I am just watching my girlish figure." Maggie turned to Jon and said "Uncle Jay is watching his gulish figyu." HAHA. Nana killed a snake in the carport last week and Brennah said "I want to go see it's blood on the concrete" ( she is definitely her mother's child). After she had seen it she followed Nana back in the house, she very seriously and passionately explained to her, "Nana, you just don't love God's cration. You don't love mice and you don't love snakes...but I do. I love God's cration, I love mice and I love snakes, and when I am grown up I will have a snake. Besides, you killed a King snake and those are good snakes that kill the poisonous ones." Thank you Animal Planet for doing your part of the homeschooling.
