Texas!

Soooo... Texas. The only place where the state flag flies level or above Old Glory. Turns out they are actually allowed to do this. I guess they were once their own country and could actually become so again at any time. I love the nights here. It doesn't matter how hot it gets during the day, it is always cool and breezy at night. I made the mistake of mentioning that there are rattlesnakes in Texas, so now Brennah talks about them constantly. Last night we had a family game night. Brennah couldn't sleep so we let her get up and "play." She actually just continually switched teams to whoever was winning. After about twenty minutes, she grabbed my arm and said seriously "Mom, the dishwasher is saying my name-do you hear it? Bren-nah, Bren-nah, Bren-nah!" After we were all finished laughing hysterically, She looked at us very sternly and said "I am not kidding." Maggie has been having trouble sleeping here. At naptime, Grammy laid down with her as she cried, "I accidentally want my toes painted!" Over and over and over again.
I have attached a video tour of our new house. They only lack the carpet, fixtures, grass, brick, stone and the fence. In my mind, I just can't see why they shouldn't be done in one day.
