More Mountain adventures...

On top of the world!

Beeyootiful!!

Awww the chicken pasta snatcher

Here are some pictures...After my ordeal, we hiked a mile up the mountain and the view was breathtaking! My legs were shaking by the time we hiked down, but it was worth it. On we continued to Quizno's (one of our favorite places to eat in Murphy) and then the cabin, just in time for stargate. Our friends Todd and Kathleen arrived by ten and we talked awhile and went to sleep. On Saturday the boys made breakfast, which was awesome and the four of us went antiquing. I was trying to find an old stained glass window to hang in the new house. I failed in my first endeavor but I am not feeling daunted in the least. I think Jon was even before we went into the store. I might have to enlist my female family members or friends to help with this project. Mom, do they also have "bigger" antique stores in Texas? On Saturday night we ate at the famous "Shoebooties" restaraunt. This was the fourth attempt. The first time, it was closed because they are only open on the weekends. The next time we were told that we needed a reservation. The third time was not the charm as it was New Years and we couldn't get a reservation. So finally we ate! It was worth it, yummy! We drove back on Sunday and picked our girls up at church. It was a wonderful weekend.
